I°) Apparatus :

The maze is elevated on a base (50 cm high). There are some box equipped of an automatic door at the end of each arm of the T.

An arm is the departure one and the others are some arrival arms. A pellet dispenser can be placed at the extremity of each arrival arm.

This apparatus is connected to an electronic interface, which permits the communication with the computer.

II°)Software:

The software for windows permits to:

* edit some exercises, create a library,

* manage exercises, open/close doors, distribute rewards...

* manage tests and their chains,

* a graphic follow-up,

* recording of positions and moments of positions' changes.

Another module of the software permits to manage some outputs variables like:

Latency;

Hesitations;

Errors;

Go time, empty space explorations;

Activity...

 

Results are showed in a array which can be imported into EXCEL.
