Imetronic existed since 1988. We are located in Pessac (near Bordeaux), our specialty is the design and manufacture of equipment for behavioral assays for research in Pharmacology, Neurobiology, Physiology and Toxicology. The company operates around three areas of competency which are Software development, Mechanics and Electronics.

Led by Christian Darracq (Engineer automation specialist) with the objective of creating an interface between the computer world and the world of behavioral neuroscience, IMETRONIC aims to provide a comprehensive response yet to the specific problems of behavioral neuroscience researchers. Today IMETRONIC is a French leader in its field, we count among our customers major names in neuroscience research as well as numerous leading pharmaceutical laboratories worldwide.

Our turnover is divided by geographical area in France about 60%, 30% in Europe (excluding France) and 10% outside Europe.
